I took a party of 14 to stay at the hotel and it was a fantastic choice. When we arrived their was a delightful lady on reception to tell us our 'bags were in our rooms, go and change and enjoy the pool and I will come and explain everything at the pool while you relax'. The pool is idyllic in amongst the vines and the rooms have lovely views over the countryside. We had a tour of the winery which was very interesting and enjoyable. We ate at their restaurant on the open terrace which was so nice and the food was incredible. All in all a beautiful place to stay and relax.

I hope to go back again soon. We stayed 2 nights and we had a lovely time. There are only 12 rooms and our deluxe double had a balcony overlooking the vineyard. The staff were delightful and provided great advice in respect to making a trip down into Pinhao and taking a boat trip. Well worth the effort down the twisty road to the river.
A must do is dinner in the restaurant which is located in another building about 500m up the long driveway. Milton and his team ware amazing and seamlessly dealt with my GF requirement despite only a couple of hours notice.
One of the best 5 course degustations I have had and included appertisers, selected wines which were topped up throughout the meal. All for 55 euro a head!!
Such a lovely part of the Douro up on the hill.
